Laureleye Farms is Located on 70 acres in the rolling hills of Chester County in the heart of Cheshire Hunt Country. Our 17 stall bank barn is warm in the winter, cool in the summer with huge, matted stalls for large horses or mares and foals.
Laureleye has 40 + acres of turn out for full, field and training board horses. We have indoor and outdoor wash stalls, a secure heated tack room, and a heated powder room for the comfort of humans. There are automatic waters in all paddocks and in the winter, there is free access to hay in all pastures. Owners live on-site for worry free care.
Laureleye offers lessons for children and adults interested in a fun, low pressure setting. Our lesson program is designed to instill the importance of safely and compassionately caring for the animals, riding safely, and gives students a deep sense of pride and accomplishment.
We offer training board for horses that need a good start or re-start to their education. We love to take horses from the beginning of their training through their schooling in whatever career they are destined for.
Full Board horses are in a straw bedded stall during the night in the winter and during the day in the summer. We like the horses to be outside being horses as much as possible.
Field board horses have access to shelter, forage and automatic waters at all times. They are brought into a stall once a day to be fed and cared for. Extra feedings are an additional fee.
Riding Lessons
Riding lessons consist of learning the importance of clear communication with the horse in a kind, effective, and compassionate way. We teach groundwork, flat/dressage, jumping, trail riding, and mounted games among other fun activities. Our lessons are designed to teach the beginner through advanced riding skills and overall knowledge of horsemanship. Bring your own horse or we will provide an appropriate mount. Riding is fun and we aim to keep it that way!
